Fluorosis/deminerali: Fluorosis appears as brown or white stains on the teeth.  It is caused by too much Fluoride when you still have your baby teeth and the permanent teeth are developing.

Demineralization is a breakdown of the enamel, and also appears as white spots. It is usually caused when bacteria in the mouth interacts with sugar to form acid.  If not treated early, it will develop into a cavity.

The ameloblasts are damaged and don't form emamel properly in this case.
