Not to worry: What you described is not a reason for concern.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex.

Here are some...: Continue to watch and wait so to see how such may evolve and change in its frequency, duration, and interval, etc. for additional 1-2 months, and bring the record of your observation to see doc + physical exam + testing as needed. Clinically, nerve-related fasciculation of muscles may be blamed like that in per-iocular muscle twitching. More? Seek evaluation or counseling.

Could be: sometimes symptoms like this are caused by pressure on a nerve or blood vessels. these symptoms have been described form prolonged bicycle riding on narrow, racing style bike seats. More serious, multiple sclerosis sometime causes sensory changes in perineum. In females and less so in males "pelvic congestion" can cause discomfort in perineum.

This could be: Related to spasm. Anal receptive sex can cause tearing of anal tissues including perforation of the colon. Repeated anal sex can weaken the anal sphincter muscle ; cause problems with incontinence. Would encourage you to give your anus a rest.

Not related: to carbs If you are hooked on caffeine it might aggravate this . Do you have anal intercourse, it could be the cause? One other thing comes to mind is that are  you under a lot of stress? This could aggravate the problem. last but not least do you have irritable bowel?
It also might be related.

Probably benign: Twitching in a young person such as yourself is usually benign triggered by stress/anxiety. The anus and toe are not unusual. Make sure you are getting enough calcium and potassium (yogurt, bananas:). The only concerning thing is it lasting and being "constant."  If it continues, you should see your doctor, maybe a neurologist, to test for rare neurological problems. Good wishes:)

Twitching prostate?: 1) Your prostate is not between your anus and scrotum. 2) Prostates don't twitch. If yours did, that would definitely be one for the books. 3) Use common sense. What tissue or organ DOES twitch? Answer: A muscle or an organ containing muscle. The area you're referring to is called the perineum. There is muscle there. If your perineal twitchies don't go away, call your doctor.
