Simple usually.: I favor the concommitent use of an h1 and h2 blocker together.
Hydroxyzine 25-50 hd and rantidine 300 work well, as does Doxepin 25-50mg hs with rantidine 300mg.

Unusual case: It would be helpful to have a complete medical history and  lab work up.   I would suggest a trial of a medication called spironolactone.   If it helps it suggests an etiology. 
Less stress and getting help for same always helpful.   I advise no alcohol use in this context.

You were dehydrated.: If you were given 2 liters of fluid, you were likely dehydrated.  The headache was not due to the IV fluids.If you're still having headaches, you should return to your pmd.

MRI could show: Mild edema, although the ct may have picked this up as well if it was there. Any commentary on the ventricles with the ct? You said you did not have any treatment? Did you have heavy sodium diet afterwards? This could lead to overcorrection of sodium levels too quickly leading to irritation of specific nerves in your brain and may need to be checked. Discuss with your physician for needed followup.

Shoulder impingement: You could be suffering from a condition called shoulder impingement where the rotator cuff (supraspinatous is one of the tendons that is part of rotator cuff) is "impinged" by bone above it and sometimes can result in irritation at the insertion on the humerus.  This can result in bone edema and inflammation which can present itself as shoulder pain with certain motions.

Oral hygiene: You may wish to consult a dentist to have your oral health checked.  I do not know of a systemic illness that may explain salty taste in the mouth.

Edema: Check with your pcp about taking/adjusting water pills & about checking your cardiac function. You may have some congestive heart failure.

i have a 13x3mm fracture of my medial talar head with associated marrow edema.i have been using crutches and a boot (4wks). how much longer? thanks!

Talar fractures R-: -serious fractures,as the trauma 2cause them is not limited 2 just the talas, but 2all adjoining structures. Non wt bearing with gentle ROM @ PT is best until all is healed, best ascertained by CT scan. Follow Ur orthopedic surgeon's advice 2 a T.
