Normal urates: Urates &amp; uric acid  are formed from protein digestion and excreted in the urine, hence the name, urine.  Depending on the acidity &amp; concentration of the urine, uric acid crystals may precipitate in urine, sometimes in an indistinct or amorphous shape or at other times,  as rhomboid shapes or rectangles, etc. The urine with amorphous uric acid crystals looks cloudy, but is otherwise healthy.

Culture: Why was the urinalysis done?Are you on antibiotics? If not,it may be a good idea if you have symptoms to get urine culture. Amorphous phosphates in an alkaline urine(ph above 7) may indicate proreus uti. Talk to the doctor who ordered the test.Good luck.

Probably no UTI: The main urinalysis abnormality in UTI is increased white blood cells; or on a dipstick test, positive leukocyte esterase and nitrites. Amorphous sediment is entirely normal. 1+ protein usually also doesn't mean anything. So no evidence at all of UTI. Beyond that, discuss with your doctor.

Here are some...: Most likely, the findings of her urinalysis could be normal for a contaminated urine specimen. If she is free of urinary symptoms, leave her alone; if really concerned, repeat urinalysis with a carefully collected fresh urine specimen as carefully instructed. More? Ask her pediatrician.

Gonorrhea? NGU?: Urethral discharge almost always is an STD. either gonorrhea or nongonococcal urethritis (NGU). Chlamydia is a common cause of NGU, but actual pus (creamy or yellow discharge) usually means gonorrhea. Get medical care ASAP.

Sounds normal: All these are common and normal. Your urine is quite concentrated, probably due to limited fluid intake before it was collected; this probably explains the trace protein, which is the only thing mentioned that might be considered slightly abnormal. Discuss with your doctor, but I see no cause for worry.

Normal urine study: Those results are "within normal limits". You may want to drink a little bit more water to stay well hydrated. In the Philippines I recommend coconut water also.

These mean nothing: Only a very high absolutely monocyte count is of any concern if you feel well, and low WBC is of concern if and only if lymphs or neuts are way-way low. If you're sick, this whispers "rule out typhoid". Amorphous sediment is simply stuff that was soluble at body temperature but crystallized as the urine cooled. It means nothing at all.

Proteinuria: repeat this exam. It can be suggestive of kidney issues, dehydration or systemic illness. I would also suggest a urine culture to rule out infectionj
