after taking combination therapy (5 mg amlodipine +10 mg lisinopril)my blood pressure fall to 85/55 is this ok or dangrous?

Not perfect: That level of drop in bp, from what i assume was a number that was abnormally high, is greater than it should be, and suggests that you are on more therapy than you need.  Sometimes, with the first dose of a vasodilator, the drop is higher than it will be on subsequent doses, but it still suggests you are on more medicine than you need.  Dehydration can also cause this type of response.

BP meds: Both amlodipine and lisinopril are effective blood pressure medications. If the amlodipine is working well for you with no signficant side effects there wouldn't be much reason for switching medications. There are possible reasons to change otherwise but you provide no information. Ask your doctor your question.....

TAlk to your Doctor.: Good keep the BP log. It does varies from morning to evening and day to day also with activities .Normal BP should range from 110/70 to 140/80. 
 Limit salt, Be as close to Ideal weight as possible and stay physically active to keep BP under control.
 So bring the BP log to your Doctor, he/she will give you correct advise, as he/she knows your full medical history.

i started amlodipine two days ago for b.p. or 174/101. now i'm hovering at 150/99. is that effective or should i ask about lisinopril?

BP: two days is too quick to make a decision. The amlodopine will likely need a second drug added depending on what dose you are taking

Yes, but . . .: Lisinopril &amp; amlodipine are used to lower blood pressure. In someone w/normal blood pressure, it can potentially lower blood pressure too much leading to weakness &amp; lightheadedness to point of passing out. Best to monitor blood pressure closely. Go to nearest ER if it drops lower than usual. Have someone else take you b/c you don't want to pass out while driving.

i normally take 40 mg lisinopril and 5 mg of amlodipine in the morning, i accidentally took a second dose of both 12 hours later in the evening, is that gonna be a problem for me?

: Not likely, would suggest skipping next morning doses and starting using a pillbox or software/apps that will prevent such events from happening again. If ever in doubt, better not to double the dose other than missing one.

Amlodipine flushing: Some people experience flushing with amlodipine. This side effect may be uncomfortable, but it is not dangerous.
