No and No: No the small amount of hormones excreted into the milk does not have any affect on supply or any harm to baby.

No: I think this is abnormal if you have stopped breast feeding and expressing breast milk completely for 2 years. Check with our doctor please.

: This is completely normal. Your mammary glands were on active duty for years, so it is actually common to be able to squeeze a little fluid out even after years during your fertile years. And as long as you even keep po pinching to check, that's a small signal to keep hydrated producing a tiny amount. As long as not bloody, no problems with mastitis, no reason at all to worry!

i stopped breastfeeding my youngest child almost 4 years ago. i would still have milk come out my breasts when squeezing for yrs. stopped months ago but now have sticky clear liquid? is that normal? had thyroid & pituitary glands checked 2 yes ago?

: Women (&amp; even men)  can have liquid discharge from breasts but the substance is not the same as milk produced when women breast feed a baby. This galactorrhea is usually not a serious situation. Nevertheless, get checked &amp; advised by your physician or gynecologist. Your cause apparently wasn't from medication, pituitary or thyroid disorder.

hello... i have given birth 3 weeks ago and i happen to stop breastfeeding during the first week. now i want to go back to breastfeed again so i want to know if o can pumpbthe old milk out to get fresh milk for the baby.

Re-feeding effort : You don't need to pump out the "old" as there is no "use by date " on breast milk. It is fresh as it exits the breast. Just try feeding every 2 hrs for 5 min/side to re-establish. Find a local feeding coach if you can to assist. With some luck and a lot of work you can be successful.

Formula: Formulas mimic breast milk in all categories .they have similar amount of nutrients and minerals,
so choose one with 20 calories per once with added essential   lipid acids that help develop babies brain.

Three basic plans: Cold turkey: bind yourself &amp; send baby to others to bottle feed until they will for you.(painful &amp; frustrating for both but some do ok.) gradual: drop a feeding every day or two, using bottle instead. At some point body drops supply &amp; you can accelerate coming off. (less pain) some also use baby to soften a tense breast but follow with a bottle each feed.This tells the breast to slow production.

Occassionally, hormone imbalance or tumors can cause false pregnancy symptoms, so a visit to your doctor is in order.
