Surgery/no surgery: These are the only management options.  Cataract surgery can be delayed until vision loss interferes with lifestyle.  Glasses can sometimes improve thew vision somewhat.

Be patient.: There is no "cure" that we know of, other than time and mother nature. Keeping your immune system in shape (good nutrition, avoiding hormonal contraceptives, avoiding tobacco) may shorten the duration of the infection, which can last for many years, even decades.

Bipolar Disorder: Although I am very much in favor of blending the use of appropriate alternative medicine with traditional western medication - I do not know of  any solo alternative treatment that will effectively deal with bipolar disorder. I do use acupuncture as an adjunct for bipolar patients to calm & balance. It has been very successful - but as an adjunct. Take care.

So herbs (caffeine and noncaffeine) products that work through a different system (often adenosine) can be helpful t keep awake during day.  Also behavior for short napping helps. Food metabolism also affects, specifically gluten has been.

malignant melanoma: Are you referring to a malignant melanoma?  I would not replace conventional treatment with alternative tx for this condition. But you might discuss using adjunctive alternative treatments with your physician.
