Please call the poison control hotline at 1-800-222-1222 now so that they can make specific recommendations.The fact that you snort various chemicals (some without knowing the possible effects) means that things are not alright. This is quite serious. If this was more than a one time occurence, then you are strongly encouraged to see an &gt;&gt;.

You : You may have already tried not drinking caffeine after noon, not exercising too close to bedtime, and not using your computer or tv within an hour of bedtime. Consider adding "white noise" such as a fan. Be sure that your room is cool and not overly warm. Eating light during the day, then having a larger meal at around 7 pm or so can be helpful. Some conditions such as depression can cause early morning awakening, so if you have any symptoms of depression please tell your doctor.  If your sleep problems are ongoing, you may need a different type of sleep medication at your doctor's recommendation.

but 5mgm of xanax (alprazolam) and 10mgm Amitriptyline should not cause these effects most of the time but you have to be aware of these effects.

That's a healthier choice than more dosage. Talk to your Dr.

Xanax (alprazolam) taper: I would recommend tapering by half of a quarted milligram of the daily dose every 3 days, and ofcourse informing your prescribing doctor of your progress & response. Good luck 2u.
