While aloe vera: has antiinflammatory properties, my question would be why are you putting on your lips? If your lips are inflammed you need to figure out why: toothpaste? lipstick? I would suggest seeing a dermatologist to discover what is going on with your lips

What study? PEER reviewed? Statistically and clinically significant...yadda yadda? Aloe vera to tighten vaginal lips? Sure why not. Try it, it's cheap. If it works, then who cares what I think? See MD: 27 year old gentleman with a lip abrasion/laceration that has not healed over the course of a month, now with blister like appearance. Please see an MD. You may have a lip laceration that has become secondarily infected. The wound can be cleansed and irrigated, dead edges of skin can be removed and it can be drained, Tetanus vaccination updated and a short course of antibiotics to aid in healing.

i recently got sunburned on my face and head and used aloe vera gel with lidocaine. after using 5 times why did i feel dazed and confused the next day?

Multiple: If your burn had been severe and extensive, you might not have had enough sleep from the pain-&gt; dazed and confused. If you have using too much lidocaine it can possibly but unlikely numb you as well although you will have to use  a huge amount to get any systemic effect. Dr Fowler also raised the question on your hydration status. See doctor if problem persists or recurs

Hydrate: for most people keeping hydrated improves chapped lips, some would advise against petrolium products and chapstick and rec olive oil. sounds strange but some pt have benfited. use sun screen on lips if in the sun as well. good luck

NOT A MYTH!!!: There are several quality research studies conducted in recent years proving that oral aloe vera extracts consistently lower fasting blood sugar and glycohemoglobin (Hb A1C). While the authors of that review feel the research "does not warrant" recommending it, it is safe &amp; affordable.
