Eye doctor needed!: If the swelling is truly allergic it should have gone away by now. Several days of swelling of the lids or eyeball could mean something more serious, like perhaps an infection. See an ophthalmologist.

I'm : I'm sure you've tried a lubricant.  The more you tug at it, the more swollen your finger is going to get, and the more impossible it will be to remove.

You have to go to the er and have them cut it off before it cuts off the circulation to your finger.  They will have the right instrument to safely and painlessly cut it off.  Don't wait.  Go now.
