: If allergic to the pen is the cause, it should happen to the other eyebrow. However, you should stop that pen for now and observe.

No: Anaphylactic reactions take place within 15 minutes or so. Pain is response sting venom. It should resolve without medications

Possible: It depends on which eye gets exposed. Usually, both eyes get exposed, so allergic reactions are commonly bilateral, but if only one gets exposed then you will get it in one eye.

Urgent Care Exam: Since your daughter is just 6 yo I suggest you have her checked out at an Urgent Care Center or medical clinic as soon as possible. I do not suggest medicating your child without advice &amp; prescriptions from a primary care physician. The sooner your child is properly evaluated &amp; treated the better. Cool compresses: First, remove the offending product, then start with some Benadryl (diphenhydramine) orally and then use cool compresses 15-30 minutes 4 times daily to soothe the area. You can also safely apply some 1% Hydrocortisone cream from the pharmacy carefully to the skin around the eye.

You dont: Symptoms of both conditions can mimick each other.  Every red eye is not infected and every itchy eye is not allergic.  An ophthalmologist can observe paillary/follicular/mucopurulent/toxic/dessicant conditions on the ocular surface to determine your condition.  Need an exam.

Pink eye: A good question. Pink eye occasionally is caused by alelergy or chemicals but usually spreads from hand to eye as a virus. Less commonly a bacteria. They can look similar but the pink eye often goes away in 7 to 10 days whereas allergic eye problems may persist. There is more discolored eye drainage from a viral pink eye than from an allergic conjuctivitis.

Probably not : An allergic reaction should not lead to herpes...But wondering  what was allergic reaction and if you know you had  herpes in past(ie. ? Same raah you had before) however if  it doesn't  look like prior "rash" (or never had herpres) see your dr. If doesn't get better.

No: It will likely improve in less than 12 hrs but may take a couple of days to totally recover-assuming you are no longer in contact with articles contaminated by cat allergens or the cat itself.  Take antihistamine and try some OTC anti-allergy eye drops.
