Drug duplication: I assume you're referring to Wal-Som brand of diphenhydramine (https://www.drugs.com/otc/119159/wal-som.html) which is often used for its sedative properties. In actuality, diphenhydramine is an antihistamine in same class as fexofenadine, active ingredient of Allegra (and Allegra-D) so there's duplication of drugs and potentially their effects. Allegra (fexofenadine): Time your allegra (fexofenadine) between 4 to 6 PM which will give it time to kick in before things start blooming at night. You can take the ZZquil occassionally for sleep

i woke up at 6:30am & my allergies were horrible so i took allegra d & fell back to sleep. i woke up about 2-3 hours later & my allergies were still horrible. the allegra didnt work at all. is it ok that i took a claritin d?

: The medication sometimes is to help along with doing other things like washing your beddings more frequently especially if you notice that the symptoms are worse early in the morning. Probably not: I couldn't find the exact ingredients in mucinex (guaifenesin) sinus max but presume it does contain pseudoephedrine as well.  When you take Allegra D, you are getting this ingredient as well and may end up with elevated BP, faster heart rate, and /or insomnia.  If it does not contain a decongestant, it would be ok.

Many conditions: Many conditions may cause chest pain. Among these are musculo-skeletal, respiratory and cardiac conditions.

Post viral?: Did the post nasal drip start with a cold, Do you have allergies and/or asthma?  At this point you may have a sinus infection.  Contact your doctor to help sort it out.  Meanwhile try nasal saline irrigation.

Yes: You can do that occasionally, don&#x27;t exceed dosage, mind you allegra-D can deprive you from sleep, so don&#x27;t take it in the pm period, and be cautious with diphenhydramine if you drive, take care

Best to be safe; NO: There are no data on the excretion of fexofenadine into human milk. Pseudoephedrine is excreted into human milk.  There are no reports of adverse effects in infants who were exposed to Pseudoephedrine in breast milk. The american academy of pediatrics considers Pseudoephedrine to be compatible with breast-feeding, but Allegra has insufficient studies to prove/disprove safety.  Recommend against.
