: Was there any mention of facet arthritis as well? In pure degenerative disc disease there's usually loss of spinal flexibility, back pain&amp;spasms, possible nerve root impingement radiating to thigh,buttocks or leg with or without sensory symptoms like numbness,pins &amp; needles. Leg weakness is a worrisome symptom requiring surgical relief of nerve root compression by a herniated intervertebral disc

No: A herniated disc tends to cause localized pain or if a nerve is being compressed by a herniated disc pain can occur in an arm or leg. For example, if a disc is herniated in the neck, pain can radiate into an arm which we call a radiculopathy or radicular pain. If the herniated disc is in the lower back the pain can radiate into a leg and it can be severe. Full body aches are not related to a disc.

No: Herniated disccs would be associated with potential back pain with radiation into an arm if the neck is involved or to the leg if the lower back is involved.. A herniated disc should not be involved with generalized aches and pain.

You would need...: To get tested by your primary care provider for gluten autoantibodies.  After that, a biopsy from the small intestine would need to be done.  If the diagnosis were confirmed, you can manage the symptoms of celiac disease by having a gluten free diet, but unfortunately there is no cure.

i have sickle cell disease and have frequent body aches i am 22 yrs old and i'm in pain but no fever , should i still go to the er?

Go to see your MD: Call your hematologist. If you can tolerate your pain - you can wait until you go to see your hematologist. You should follow up regularly with your hematologist and follow the recommendation to prevent you from getting too many crisis. If your pain is so unbearable then you should seek help- then you may want to go to urgent care or er- if you wish.

Blood test: Simple test can diagnose celiac disease . Pls ask your doctor. If diagnosis is confirmed then treatment is to avoid gluten containing food.

i had a cold fever on monday, was given antibiotics and pain medication for my body aches. i have lost taste in my mouth and my nostrils makes it impossible to breathe.

Symotins: If your nose is congested, you will need to breath through your mouth. The loss of taste can occur with many infections. Rest, hydrate, quarantine &amp; eat healthfully. Consider use of acetaminophen, saline for nasal irrigation, decongestant or cough syrup. Get urgent care for difficulty breathing, blue lips or face, marked persistent chest pain/ pressure or new onset confusion. Take care.

broken foot,boot cast, muscle disease etc.,body aches/hurts tired from top to bottom! how do i adjust &not get weaker etc.why does upper body hurt?

If your not putting: Pressure on the foot then your body is not aligned properly and you end up exerting more energy and utilizing other body parts etc....
