No: Trouble with erections (like erectile dysfunction) does not happen to all men. Age is certainly a factor, older men are more likely to have erectile dysfunction. Other factors that may cause sexual dysfunction are: meds (anti-depressants, some BP meds) , smoking, psychological, diabetes, and many others.
Those who maintain overall health are less likely to have sexual dysfunction.

can age and medication play a role in abnormal pap smear.

No: Most of the time, the abnormal cell changes are caused by certain types of human papillomavirus, or HPV. HPV is a sexually transmitted infection.

Usually these cell changes go away on their own. But certain types of HPV have been linked to cervical cancer. That's why regular Pap tests are so important.

Sometimes the changed cells are due to other types of infection, such as those caused by bacteria or yeast. These infections can be treated.

In women who have been through menopause, a Pap test may find cell changes that are just the result of getting older.

Nausea: after drinking water.  Please see your doctor to make sure all is well medically.  Then approach this as an experiment.  Drink some water at various temps., warm, cold, room temp, etc. and see how you respond to that.  Drink at different times of day and see how that feels.  Drink w/food and w/out. i have essential tremor at the early age of 17.medication is ruled out, as i can't concentrate. how can i reduce the tremor  this in social situations?

ESSENTIAL TREMOR: It might be worth a visit to a major referal center with a large movement disorders clinic (columbia university in nyc for example) use of beta blockers, Mysoline (primidone) and Klonopin with careful titration might spare you the sedation. There are other approaches (sugery-magnetic stimualtion of the brain, biofeeedback, weighted utensils) that might help. Get a second and even third opinion.

doctor prescribed 50mg zoloft (sertraline) for my anxiety. is this a good medication? age 28. male. 145 pounds. and are there any issues if i come off it?

Zoloft (sertraline): 50mg of Zoloft is usually prescribed for sleep which is comonly caused by excess anxiety. A certain amount of anxiety is normal as it motivates us to do something to relieve it (whatever it is we're worried about). But if it interferes with our functioning then it may be time for some relief. Zoloft is less addictive than the benzodiazepines like Xanax (alprazolam) and Valium, Klonipin etc.
