May be due to hot we: In the hot summer months it is not uncommon to get some mild dehydration. This can cause urine to be more concentrated which means dark yellow color. So drink more water and see if the color improves in which case nothing further needs to be done.

Red tinted urine: You may have trace blood in your urine. A urinalysis can confirm this. It is important to check this right away, because blood in your urine can be dangerous and a source must be identified. Also, you can get a blood test for bilirubin levels, since abnormal bilirubin levels change urine color. Some foods like carrots, blackberries, beets, and rhubarb can turn your pee a pink color.

Urine color: Unfortunately, it is very hard to judge based on the color of your urine. It may be an infection, but it may be not. The only way would be to do a urine test.

: What you described could be reflection of light off the bubbles that normal form on urination. If you do not have any other symptoms you may watch and wait. If you get fever, pain on urination, foul smelling urine, it would be prudent to see a doctor.
It may help to drink enough water daily so that your urine is mostly colorless.

Not of concern: Phenazopyridine contained in urinary analgesics (relieving pain associated with voiding) colors urine orange.  Most PCP can easily make a diagnosis and treat your condition.

Go see your doctor: Go and see your doctor.

Orange (as opposed to yellow or slightly brownish) urine is not normal. It is a sign of liver or sometimes urinary tract disease.

Intensely yellow urine is normal after taking a number of products, particularly b group vitamins. Urine from people taking penicillins such as Amoxicillin typically has a distinctive, "yeasty" smell.  But if your urine is truly orange this may be the sign of something wrong and you should go see your doctor.

Vitamin overdose: You might also be taking some vitamin supplements? Particularly B-vitamins? I don't actually recommend vitamin supplements unless you have a 'real' reason to take them. I don't think the Augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate) is at fault here-but it's quite possible you're dehydrated from your illness. I would drink as much fluid as you can: thin soups, ginger tea, lemonade, coconut water etc to support your body through this

Certainly can be: from taking sulfa or other drugs (and of little significance in those cases).  Or can be uric acid (the chemical involved in gout.). Treatable.
