If a person has "adrenal fatigue", they have poor exercise recovery from extreme exertion, and that can delay healing.    

I always recommend avoid over-training if a person has impaired recovery from exercise or a suspicion of adrenal fatigue.

See a medical doctor: These terms are not true medical conditions, they are marketing terms used by 'alternative' medical practitioners, usually to convince you to purchase unnecessary medical tests and treatments which do little for you.  Adrenal insufficiency is the correct medical term for underactive adrenals, and specific testing should be arranged by your doctor if that diagnosis is being considered.

This is usually not true. Poor adrenal function is determined by an acth (cotrosyn) stim test, and not by measuring just one blood or saliva level. See an endocrinologist.
