Many Meds possible: It is fairly common to find duo diagnosis such as anxiety with ADHD, and each diagnosis needs to be addressed.  Trazadone plus Ritalin is a very reasonable combiination, especially if falling asleep at night is a problem.  If not effective, there are other combinations that might be helpful.

Stimulants remain : The same 2 classes, amphetamines & methylphenidates. Interestingly, you might do well on vyvanse, (lisdexamfetamine) the "pro-drug" preparation of adderall, even if you're not having optimal results on maximum doses of Adderall xr. Of the non-stimulants strattera is approved for adults for adhd; Intuniv will be, soon, & i'm not sure about capvay. It takes ~4 weeks to know if these are working for you. Best of luck!

Maybe: Nuvigil is a derivative of provigil.  Provigil has been shown to be effective in treating adhd in several well done reports, eg, psychiatry res. 2009 aug 15;168(3):234-7. E pub 2009 may 12. Similar studies are pending on nuvigil, so its use would be as a third line if other treatments fail.
