Yes it can: We usually try to avoid that sort of combination of anti anxiety treatment and a stimulant. You're on a very low dose of Zoloft (sertraline) even for anxiety. You might chat with your doctor about increasing the dose. If possible stopping or at least decreasing the Adderall should help as well.

i took adderall for 15 months 20 mg daily for recreation use. i stopped cold turkey and had extreme panic attacks. is this normal?

Yes, cessation rxn: Adderall is a dopamine/norepinephrine stimulant that results in increased arousal in the brain stem (reticular activating system, RAS).  When you take adderall for several months, your system accomodates.  When you stop abruptly, your RAS attempts to compensate and can produce far too much norepinephrine and dopamine, resulting in increased anxiety and possibly panic anxiety;  See your PCP.

i used to take 20mg adderall 3 days a week for a couple years. i havent taken it in months because i havent had the need to. is it possible because i havent taken it, it caused me to experience high anxiety/panic attacks?

Adderall Withdrawal: If you haven't taken Adderall for months, you anxiety is unlikely to be from Adderall withdrawal. Anxiety can be caused by many different factors, so it your symptoms persist, I recommend that you seek medical attention.

Sometimes: Sometimes stimulants can cause anxiety and panic attacks. Yes you should be concerned. Discuss this side effect with your physician. There may be other options for you or you may need a lower dose.

Serotonergic: syndrome usually presents with elevated heart rate, stiff muscles and elevated temperature. You usually don't see the latter two things with panic attacks in isolation. And yes its possible to get either or both of these problems with this combination of meds depending on the dose. Avoid triptans  Reglan, St Johns Wort, Buspar, (buspirone) Yohimbe, Nutmeg, lithium, Tramadol, Lortab, MAOI's while on this combo

Depends: It's a matter of opinion. Sometimes just getting a checkup and being reassured that you are fine is helpful. Then there are medications for anxiety. If you tend to hyperventilate, then it is sometimes helpful to breathe into a paper bag. My preference is hypnosis however since it is one of the things I use and I have seen it to be very successful.

i have been taking xanax (alprazolam) for several years because i have severe panic attacks. 1 mg 3x''s a day. i don't think it is working anymore. ?

Maybe not enough: Most likely the xanax (alprazolam) is still having some effect. Probably it is just not working well enough. Other treatments that are often helpful include serotonin antidepressants (sri's like prozac, zoloft, lexapro) and cognitive behavioral therapy. You should talk to your doctor. But don't abruptly stop the xanax (alprazolam).
