Fractures: This is a dangerous situation. You need to get to a doctor to take an X Ray and put the bones back together and put a cast on your arm. It sounds like you will probably need surgery with metal plates and screws to maintain the reduction of your BBFF both bones forearm fracture and hand fractures eval and treated similarly open vs closed reduction and fixation. If open need tetanus and IV abx ASAP

Wrist Pain: Why do you have arm/elbow/wrist pain? Any history of trauma? Do you play any sport? Is it just pain or with redness and swelling? Cold compress and nsaids such as ibuprofen/aleve can help relieve the inflammation.  If it doesnt go away, get it checked by your doctor. Hope you feel better.

Evaluation and PT: It depends on the reason you have  these and are  they related. You need  an evaluation to see if this is part  of a systemic process. Physical and occupational therapy can help you rehab these  problems.

Joint swelling: Joint swelling and pain in a young female without trauma may indicate an inflammatory process, autoimmune disease, or maybe even a viral infection. If this persists and does not respond to simple anti-inflammatory drugs such as ibuprofen or naproxen, see your doc.

my c7 facet fracture has healed but still getting bit of pain in left elbow and muscle pain b near shoulder can u tell me what causing it when active?

Referred somatic psi: Referred somatic pain fromi injured facet post trumatic degeneration or ligament injury consider fiagnostic facet injection followed by rf ablation if it really bothers you comfort with activities after injury is not always achievable look at the portland trailblazers last couple of seasons  not everybody makes it off injured reserve the ones that do may just be suffering more.

i fell on a step and hit upper arm now it hurts to move and can barely pickup anything.what can help the pain go down?(happened 3/8/ iced and wrapped)

May need an exam: to rule out joint injury.  If this is just a deep bruise then; alternate ice/heat, elevate (can try to sling it up while you sleep). If no contraindications; can alternate nsaid like ibuprofen and tylenol (acetaminophen).

Go to ER: This numbness my be related to tight wrap, sometimes this may lead to lack of blood supply and could be dangerous. I would suggest you to go to ED or call your doc ASAP.

BP cough: If we wrap it below the heart level, it erroneously records high bp. That's why we wrap it at the heart level.

i got a cast put on my arm yesterday at er it hard on the back and wraped in an ace bandage it smells realy bad is this normal how do i get rid of it?

F/u with Ortho: Read the discharge instructions from the ER, call or go back if  you notice anything unusual.  Otherwise follow up as recommended.

is it possible to get a bruise from wrapping dog leash on arm ?

Accepted Answer

Yes: If the dog is pulling there will be tension on the leash or if it is wrapped too tightly against the arm.  Take care.
