i have a dull ache in my right side, under my rib cage. could it be kidney stones?

Yes, but.....: Some kidney stone pain will occur under the rib cage, but kidney stones more often will cause upper back pain.  Right sided pain in the front of the body, just under the rib cage can be caused by, but not limited to gallbladder, liver, colon or appendix issues.  Further medical evaluation would be needed to determine the cause of your dull ache.

Muscle strain: Abdominal musculature can be agravated withh respirations and movement. Without other symptonms likely the cause but should confirm with physican.

Anatomy: The liver is under your right breast.  It is not on the left side and thus could  not be the cause of left abdominal pain. On the left is the colon, spleen, pancreas and stomach.

I doubt it!: Senstions in the abdomen are rarely due to these reasons. There are very little  sesory nerve fibers in the abdomen but for irritation to the peritonum and distention , r side of the colon is more distensible than the l.

Liver: Unlikely liver pain, more likely strain of ribs or chest muscles. Try rest and ice to area and it should resolve in 3 days, iF not seek medical evaluation

See your doctor!: If you are referring to the spleen area, it's important that you get evaluated by your PCP so they can do a thorough abdominal examination, and get more medical, social, travel, trauma, sexual history from you to determine what is swelling and why it's swelling.This may involve lab testing&amp; imaging too. So, don't delay. If it's still painful over this area, it won't get better faster w/o med care.

Pain under ribcage: Could represent pleuritic pain.  This is irritation of the inner lining of lung cavity .   Need to see md to listen to lungs and possible x-ray.

took breztri aerosphere for 1st time. got terrible back ache that felt like my lower back ache, but higher up on my back-under rib cage. the ache travel up my back (bottom to top of rib cage). may this be paradoxical bronchosasm an adverse reaction?

: It is more likely that you have muscular strain. Some pulmonary conditions such as a collapsed lung may present in this manner. If you have any shortness of breath or persistent pain, please see urgent care or the Emergency room. Discuss the use of a heating pad and NSAID with your physician. Rinse mouth after use of inhalers and discuss a vitamin D level with your PCP.
