Moisture in: With eczema you really have to moisturize as much as possible. If you are on Accutane it does dry out the skin and you have to moisturize often, thus it is not surprising that your eczema got worse. It is not certain whether it will be permanent or not until you stop it and see what happens. Keep moisturized.

No: Eczematous otitis externa is very common, particularly among people who experience some type of dermatitis in the scalp. Autoimmune skin diseases are also more commonly associated with eczematous otitis externa. Accutane is not known to be an associated cause.

No: Although atopic dermatitis tends to clear in nearly 75% of patients by their 20's there is no cure since this is an inherited condition affecting 15-20% of children.

Not likely: Eczema is not common on a penis.  More likely it would be seborrheic dermatitis, yeast infection or tinea-fungal infection.  To cover the most likely possibilities you can buy Hydrocortisone cream 1% and Clotrimazole cream, mix a small amount of both on the fingers and apply to the rash three times a day for a week or so.  That would treat all three.

Most of the time: Yes and many times when the rash is not so clear, the eyes of the experienced  dermatologist can see the rash.

No: Eczema, or atopic dermatitis, is a hereditary condition, much like asthma or hay fever.  Most grow out of eczema by 10-11 years old.  It is estimated that ~15% continue to have eczema into adulthood.  These individuals tend to have allergies to many things, and the disease is chronic.  Treatment goal is generally to control flares rather than cure.

Moisturize: Dry, light colored, scaly patches or pityriasis alba is a milder presentation of eczema.  Both are primarily a dry skin problem.  Basic treatment is to correct the dry skin by using moisturizers and avoiding practices that dry the skin such as bathing in hot water or use of perfumed soaps.  You may need additional treatment with steroid creams which would require a visit with your doctor.

See a dermatologist: Meanwhile, soak the child in a tub. The fingers should be wrinkled. Within a few minutes after the soak, rub in a cream containing ceramides such as Eucerin Eczema care, CeraVe, Aveeno (oatmeal) Eczema cream. OTC 1% hydrocortisone can also be tried while waiting to see the dermatologist. But do not delay for long.
