Yes: Any fruit juice is usually fine, in small amounts, as part of a balanced diet. Fruit juice is not necessary and has lots of sugar (and is usually acidic). It is better to eat the fruit, because one tends to get fewer calories eating fruit than drinking the juice.

High vitamin C: Hi!
Camu Camu has very high levels of vitamin C.  We know that vitamin C is helpful, but 1) there is no evidence that vitamin C from Camu Camu would be any better for us than that from other supplements; 2) the amount of vitamin C in a given amount of Camu Camu is not reported or regulated, so there's going to be a lot of variation in your actual dose.  I can't recommend it.

For Children...: ...Almost none. Occasionally a source of fiber for regularity of bowel movements, an alternative source of vitamin d if the juice is supplemented and some vitamin c. But overall, a waste of calories.Not worth using.

Depends...: ...On how long you do it for, and if you're using any other supplements. The major problem with longer term use of a juice fast (more than a day or two) is muscle wasting due to a very low protein intake. Any detox can be difficult to handle, and you should be in pretty good health to begin with or do the detox under a doctor's guidance.
