Relatively safe: Intracranial hypertension, or pseudotumor cerebri, is a condition that often causes headaches and blurred vision.  It is normally diagnosed by opening pressure on spinal tap and treated with medication.

I have never heard that it can cause death.  It's major disabling symptoms are headache and sometimes altered vision.

There are many different types of blood pressure medicines we can use... Working with her doctor, she could find one that causes her less side effects like constipation.

Lab Tests: Lab tests are ordered by a physician after you've been evaluated. High blood pressure is not good at any age and over time will take its toll. Once the cause is determined appropriate treatment can be rendered.

Fiorinal w codeine:  Agree with Rosenfeld. This medication contains both a barbiturate ( butalbital) and a narcotic ( codeine). It is a contolled prescription, so provider must have a valid DEA number.

No: it contains, obviously, codeine which will show up as an opiate (and is also metabolized into morphine). It also contains a barbiturate, bultalbital, which will also show up as positive. I would worry more about using drugs when you are subject to drug testing, and the level of severity of your drug problem, as you do about getting caught.
