Superior trapezius : The unifying symptom you describe is the broad region of discomfort.  This muscle runs throughout the region you describe.  Perhaps is spasm in this muscle with tendonitis where it connects to the occipital skull.  Your signs and symptoms are odd, and you should see an osteopath to sort this out.

hi. my symptoms are: swollen lymph nodes behind ears, head, neck, collar bone, and throat (under jaw). no pain & appeared 2 days ago. no cold/sinus/fever. this am noticed hot coin-shaped rash on buttock & itchy bumps on elbow. 6 weeks pregnant, 39yrs?

Follows a rib: That's a pretty good description! it's following an intercostal muscle or rib. You may have costochonditis (rheumatism of the joint where the rib attaches to the breatbone). You may have intercostal neuritis. If a rash appears, it could even be shingles. Has there been any minor trauma or lifting?

is the skin between on our tailbone or between our buttocks supposed to be slightly red? i sit a lot and often have mild tailbone bone pain when sitting?

Probably not a cold: You may have allergies or chronic nasal obstruction from anatomical concerns. Try an over the counter antihistamine first. A nasal steroid spray could also be of benefit.

i had a tooth extracted and bone inmplanted in my lower left jaw 4 weeks ago.  my chin and lip on that side are still numb. is it unusual to still be numb?
