Can be: Swelling can be due to gaseous distension, stool in the colon, a baby in the uterus, urine in the bladder, poor muscle tone.  It can also be due to abnormalities of the ovaries (cysts, tumors), kidneys (cyst, tumor, failure), uterus (fibroids, tumors), tubes (ectopic preg), liver (tumors, fat, scarring, failure), fluid deposition from sick liver, tumors, heart failure, tumor masses, etc. C ur doc.

Some females taking bcp;s can develop benign liver tumors . Therefore a visit to a dr can rule out all the bad things , they may order an ultrasound exam or a ct scan if something is there.

If not better in a week or so, get checked by your doc.
