Accepted Answer

No. : To early to have pregnancy or "fertilization" symptoms. You may have some cramping because a device was placed through your cervix and sperm placed in your uterus. Neither of these organs like have things placed inside of them. Cemen can be irritating to the uterus and it is usually washed before IUI to prevent symptoms but its still possible to have what you are experiencing. Talk to your doctor.

Cramps post IUI: Unlikely a sign of fertilization which is painless.  More likely related to the iui.

: Yes, it is normal to experience those symptoms after IUD insertion with or without spotting for a couple days.

Period: Unfortunately it sounds like the IUI was not successful since your pregnancy test is negative and you started your period. I am sorry  to hear that. You will need to see a primary care doctor for fatigue and leg cramps as that would not be related to an iui.

? early cramps: The most likely answer is early menstrual cramping for an unsuccessful cycle.  That said, almost anything goes in these cycles in regards to cramping and bleeding.  Early pregnancy is plagued by similar complaints.  Only time will tell and your pregnancy test will give more information.  There is nothing you can do to change the outcome.  Best to ignore the symptoms.  Good Luck

greetings, i have been having diarrhea since monday (15 nov) and some unsettling abdomen cramps followed until the 18th. i believe this is related to a meat wrap i'd eaten back in the 14th, haven't seen a dr yet. what should i do?

: If you have blood in the stool, worsening abdominal pain or fever, please seek medical attention immediately. Most food poisoning resolves in 3-5 days with fluids, but if not improving after 5 days, also seek medical attention. Keep hydrated and make sure to drink an electrolyte solution alternating with water (in the US, we prefer Pedialyte, but watered down apple juice is also a good option).

Muscle spasms: I wold describe this as abdominal muscle spasms, similar to leg cramps or charley horse.episodes. They may occur from muscle strain or fatigue. I expect these to subside but if they persist and there is no evidence of abdominal muscle pathology or gastrointestinal symptoms,I recommend consulting a neurologist for evaluation as trivial motions are precipitating these spasms.

Many things: It doesn't say how old you are, and we would need a lot more info to help you.  Could you be pregnant?  Are you constipated?  Have you been ill?  Could you have an std?  Is your period due/overdue?  Have you had abnormal (or no) pap smears?  Has there been a change in your bowel movements?  Many things can cause lower abdomen cramping/pain.  Give us more info and maybe we can help.  Or see your md.
