how can i avoid little bumps after juvederm injections? i seem to always develop little bumps at the juvederm injection sites. they do go away, but i'd like to avoid getting them in the first place. is there anything i can do?

It : It is not possible to give you an answer without more information. The best thing to do is go back to your injector when you have the bumps and ask them what is going on and how to treat it.

Injection site bumps occur for a variety of reasons. The most common cause of injection site bumps is a small amount of swelling from the needle. This tends to resolve in 24 hours, and can be minimized with ice and light compression after your treatment. If the bumps are due to the filler being injected too superficially, a correction on administration will help as can light massage. Over doing the massage can lead to flattening of your results.

MRSA: This may be a methicillin-resistant staph aureus lesion. Sometimes these can be very indolent and then come to a head. This probably will need to be treated with warm compresses and perhaps sulfamethoxazole trimethoprim.

See a doc.: While I don't know what a "prepous" is, any new lumps need that don't go away in a week or two, need to be checked. Also, unexplained weight loss needs to be evaluated. There are a lot of possible explanations.  You  need to be examined and have any testing that is recommended after being examined.  Keep a food diary and count ALL calories each day (including calories in condiments like catsup).

Folliculitis: Red bumps on the scalp can occur when the hair shaft is pulled from its follicle, creating irritation and inflammation.  Occassionally, fungus or bacteria enter the follicle, creating an infection which requires treatment.

Dermatitis: There are multiple thousands of hair follicles on ones head.  One for each hair.  Occasionally these follicles get infected with bacteria and will form a pustule like lesion.  One can even have a reaction to the oil on the scalp and get a dermatitis with a pimple like lesion.  The follicle can get plugged and form a "zit" like lesion.  Use a good shampoo, perhaps dab a bit of antibiotic ointment.

Maybe not pimple: It may be a persistent clogged pore or a small cyst if it has lasted for some time.  It may also be some persistent inflammation.  The best way to know for sure would be to have it examined by your doctor.
