Orchalgia : The potential causes of orchalgia (testicular pain) are numerous and can be either direct, such as torsion, infection, tumor or trauma; or indirect such as a ureteral stone, lower spine disorder or indirect inguinal hernia. Post-vasectomy orchalgia may be due to sperm granuloma, congestive epididymitis or nerve entrapment.

Cyst: If the lump is in the scrotum it is most likely a benign cyst. Since it doesn't appear to be tender,it is not inflamed and doesn't require treatment. See your physician if there is any question of testicular involvement,however.

If there is a new: mass - see your urologist. The urologist can tell you if this is a normal structure or a lesion that requires further exploration.

ive found a lump on my testicle like a size of grain rice. but i went and had a ultrasound today and they found nothing. but i can feel it when my balls are loose ? but when i went to ultrasound my balls were tight and i couldnt find it myself?

Testicle lump : You mention the lump was the size of a grain of rice. That is quite small. How does a doctor reconcile your concern that you can no longer feel and was not found on an ultrasound. There no easy answer to your concern on this end of this forum. You need an in-person examination to understand your concerns.

my right testicle hurts. this pain really started bc i kept constantly checking my balls for a lump bc of anxiety. i kept touching the little ball that's on the testicles thats supposed to be there and now the ball hurts. should i go get checked out?

: You've checked enough' You have probably irritated the area called epididymis. Stop feeling it. Take Ibuprofen for a few days and wear a good scrotal support. Tests self exam should not be done sooner then at least one month apart, and the very gently. You will be fine

See below: Any lump arising from the testicle(s), especially in a male under the age of 50, should be evaluated by a physician (preferably a urologist, if available) to both determine the cause and to rule out testicular cancer. "Lumps" that occur adjacent to or separate from the testicle are invariably benign whereas "lumps" arising from the testicle itself should be evaluated further with appropriate tests
