However, the only person who can help is his primary care physician and the neruologist to whom Junior may be referred -- SGOT/SGPT "liver enzymes" can come from muscle.

Healthy diet: No magic. Get enough lean protein -- chicken, fish, lowfat dairy, soy, whey protein -- unless you are a strict vegetarian, with perhaps an extra 20 grams after each workout. Avoid greasy and salty foods. As you work out, especially doing cardio, your body will begin to tell you how to eat best. Shun steroids. Creatine & if your doctor is okay an electronic muscle stimulator may be very helpful.

See Doctor: Infectious hepatitis can be a reason for elevated liver enzymes.  Acetaminophen related products such as Norco (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) can also cause this.  Some turn to certain supplements for assistance.  Milk thistle, nac, Alpha lipoic acid have all been studied for liver support.   Nac is actually used in the er to protect the liver from Acetaminophen toxicity.  Avoid alcohol.  Get doctor assistance and monitoring.
