Prob not necessary: Usually the parents have more discomfort than baby. Fewer drugs are better than more drugs. Cold teething rings are safe to use without relying on Tylenol (acetaminophen)

8mo vomiting dairy..:  Congratulations on your baby boy! It would be helpful to know what formula your baby is eating.  Some babies have a Milk Protein Allergy vs. Milk/formula intolerance.  Most times the symptoms are very similar.  Some babes have a true allergy and you may see symptoms similar or worse.  Others only have an intolerance and have vomiting or diarrhea only. Please see your Pediatrician for testing.

80mg: The recommended dose for a infant is 10-15 mg/kg & your baby weighs about 8kg. I would start at 80mg. Many products that come in dropper bottles have lines on the dropper, the first line is usually 40 mg and the 2nd is 80.

Many conditions: Many conditions may cause this sound and infants may develop asthma at this age. 
Other causes include narrowing of the airway(s) or malformations which impinge on the airway. Choking and a foreign body lodged in the airway is another consideration.

The usual...: The nutrients are the same as adults, but different quantities. The baby needs proteins, carbohydrates and fats. The fat calories should be roughly about 1/3-1/2 of the calories, and the remainder divided up between the remaining two. They need vitamins, micronutrients and iron. All of these can be obtained by drinking adequate infant formula. If breast feeding exclusively, needs vitamin d added.
