Normal: 7 days post ovulation is the mid secretory phase where the cervical mucus is thickest. It is can be yellowish white and jelly like.  No worries.

Pretty early: That's preety early.  Chances are that you probably aren't going to have any symptoms.

Many things: many things can affect the character of the mucus including stress, hormones, infection, diet and a host of other factors. Pelvic pain: Pelvic pain is complex as there are several organs in the pelvis. The ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus, cervix, bladder, appendix, intestines, colon and rectum can all be the source. Pelvic pain requires and examination to help organize the evaluation. If you pain is this severe you should be seen in the ER. Appendicitis and other conditions should be considered

Maybe muscle: Stretched. Consider massage, taking anti-inflammatory and applying ice, to help with muscle spasm.

Premenstrual spottin: Sometimes you can see some prementual discharge or spotting. Get your regular exam.

Sure: It is always very difficult to accurately predict exactly when ovulation occurs. If you do not want to be pregnant consider using condoms or birth control

Fertility: At age 43, the odds of conception even using basal body temperature and ovulation test are less than 5% in general.  If your follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) at day 2 and day 10 are added together and are less than 10 units, the odds are still small without assisted reproductive technology (ART).  IVF (or variants) may be your best chance, but are expensive.

Possible? Yes, but..: A positive pregnancy test can tell a woman that prior spotting was actually implantation spotting. It can be hard to tell if a woman is pregnant because some of the symptoms seen in early pregnancy can also happen in non-pregnant women. A urine pregnancy test gives a reliable result about 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have occurred), or 1 week after missing a period.
