Not likely: Although you could definitely injure the eye.  If this occurs, wash out the eye immediately with water.  Then go to the nearest emergency department.

Both types : are excellent cooling and soothing rubbing fluids. Isopropyl alcohol is a different chemical. It is poison to drink.
Rubbing ethyl alcohol is the same kind that is in liquor, but it has been "denatured " by adding chemicals that make it undrinkable. Filtering or "straining " denatured alcohol does NOT make it safe to drink.

Can impede healing: Best thing to do after the initial disinfection with soap or alcohol is to apply petroleum ointment (plain vaseline) at least twice daily until the skin has re-epithelized (about 5-7days). Hydrogen peroxide can be harmful to the healing skin, antibiotic ointments increase the risk of allergic contact dermatitis, alcohol can dry out the wound resulting in a scab which can also slow down healing.

Alcohol on scrotum: Alcohol is an irritant and dries the skin, and should not be used on any areas of the skin, especially on delicate  areas like the groin and scrotum. If you want to use something to dry and clean that area, use Witch Hazel.

Did : Did you do this?  I don't know how long it will take for this injury to fully recover. Do not put rubbing alcohol in the vagina. It will cause lot's of pain, blisters and drying of the delicate vaginal mucosa. Keep the area clean and dry.

Not effective: Best to use non alcohol containing facial moisturizer. Also shaving with, not against the direction of hair growth can reduce irritation from shaving as well. Softening hair with warm, moist towel prior to shaving or shaving in shower also helpful.

Not the best: Initially clean with betadine, then daily dress with a less caustic medicine.Daily application of even hydrogen peroxide causes tissue destruction and retards natural healing.Best to see a doctor, at least once, and get a good treatment regemin so you will heal as fast and safely as possible.Your pharmacist can be of help as well.
