i have uti. doc prescribed cefdinir. its 300 mg once a day for five days. i am 4 foot 3 inches and 60 pounds. should that be enough to help? i get gi issues with many antibiotics so assume its based on my weight and all. thank you?

: This med is metabolized in such a way it is concentrated in the urine. It is prescribed with this in mind. I would not worry about your weight.

Taking a guess...: Sudden pain from impact could have possibly ruptured an ovarian cyst - that is, of course, if you have ovaries! you may be bruised, and it's possible that the pain you currently have has nothing to do with the impact at all. When i think of right lower abdominal pain, i think appendix - until proven otherwise! you might want to get a real exam - not an internet opinion - on this one. Good luck.

To lose 5 pounds in a week would be only temporary water weight loss and is unhealthy too. Jogging for 30 minutes equals only about 250 calories burned. You would have to jog all day and eat nothing. Not a good idea.

Variation: How soon into pregnancy you start to "show" varies greatly from one person to the next. Some women seem to pop several weeks into pregnancy while others still fit into their regular jeans at seven months pregnant. But most women begin to show at 3-6 months. So probably pretty soon.
