If the kid seems to be better on the comfort, stay with it. The feed seldom has anything to do with or help in treating colic. If your pediatrician or their nurse can show you technique once, it's very helpful to actually see how the taping is done. May also need to pin hands to shirt to avoid grabbing.

They feed adequately during the day. 80% of breast feeds are extracted in 5 min/side, so limiting feeds to 10 min/side &amp; going every 2 hrs can build feeds if needed. If the urine output is every 3-4 hrs I wouldn't worry about the feeds.
