It depends: This can be a normal feeling in pregnancy as long as you do not have any other symptoms and it is minor in intensity.  However, if your symptoms become more intense or are associated with any vaginal discharge or bleeding, you need to see your OB/GYN doc ASAP.

Not really: Everyone has different thresholds for feeling cramps - majority are of not much clinical significance. However, i would get a dr evaluation and if cervix is closed and long, no need to worry.

Don't know: "cramping can have multiple causes. It can signal premature contractions of the uterus and threatened premature labor and may need immediate attention. It can signal vascular (blood flow) changes and need monitoringor treatment. It can just be normal changes during pregnancy. It is something to discuss with your OB doctor.

Cramps/Pregnancy: Cramping at 17 weeks of pregnancy is concerning. This needs to be evaluated by your physician. Just last night my daughter who is 20 weeks pregnant complained of the same thing and was diagnosed with a urinary tract infection.  Please be evaluated.

: Abdominal cramps and diarrhea should be treated by your OB provider.  Medications such as "lo-motil" is often effective for arresting diarrhea, but a clostridium infection needs specific antibiotics for treatment, so ask for an exam for his/her recommendations.

17 weeks pregnant i heard my stomach  making a cracking sound i was cramping earlier from discomfort but is this normal i rarely have symtoms?

Stomach sounds: If you are hearing sounds in your abdomen this is likely from intestinal movement. Stool, liquid and air move through the intestines and cause the stomach to "growl." It is not possible to hear something with the pregnancy. If you are concerned something is wrong in pregnancy see your obgyn.

Probably not: But to be sure that there is nothing serious going on the best approach would be to see your obstetrician and allow them to examine you.  Have a great baby.
