Yes: Hcg levels usually decrease @ 10-12 weeks of gestational age and pregnancy symptoms commonly decrease. This is normal & you'll feel reassured when your OB lets you listen to the fetal heart tones. Take care.

Pregnancy: there is no rule in pregnancy that you will have any symptoms at any certain time.  Things are mostly generalities. As an example morning sickness usually goes away after the first trimester, but some women puke their whole pregnancy.  There are as many exceptions as their are usuallies.

Fatigue: And cold intolerance are the most frequent symptoms.   Tsh level will give an answer in minutes.

Count your blessings: Some women never have noticeable symptoms with pregnancy beyond loss of menses. Some are chronically ill &amp; require frequent hospitalization. You appear to be one of the lucky ones. Make a list of any concerns so you don't forget them at your OB visit.

my wife is 10 weeks pregnant. about two weeks ago, she drank a smoothie with some frozen strawberries that we just found out have been recalled for possible listeria contamination. no symptoms for her or other 2 people who drank it. should we worry?

Although she has no symptoms it may be wise to talk with her OBGYN. It can sometimes take two months for symptoms to appear.

Likely all ok,: but best to discuss with your doctor. Testing, such as ultrasound, can be very reassuring.

im 10 weeks pregnant and have contracted a cold/flu... aside from a snotty nose my ears are blocked and a bit sore. what can i take to ease some of the symptoms considering my pregnancy? thank you in advance.

Use local treatment: You can use local treatments safely.  For your nose, use a saline rinse and/or use of a humidifier. Standing in a hot shower also helpful. You can safely take Tylenol for aches and headache. Good old chicken soup will ease throat pain, as will gargling with salt water. Finally, get extra rest.

im 9 or 10 weeks pregnant and got covid saturday night. just found out last night. symptoms are sore throat fatigue mild body aches and fevers on and off. terrified for baby health especially in first trimester. what do you as doctors think?

: To date we don’t know if any common adverse effects of Covid infections in the first trimester however any viral infection potentially could have risks involved. The major thing currently is to just treat symptoms and watch for any respiratory problems. Certainly notifying your doctor is the first step step
