Call your doctor: Three days is too long in a 10 month old.  They dehydrate quickly at this age, especially with diarrhea.  Your child needs to be seen by his or her doctor.

what could be causing a 10 month old baby to vomit milk, he was put on isimil as of 3month because of lactose intolerance but lately he vomits it after each bottle. is it advisable to stop formula at this stage?

SWITCH: but don't stop without gradually introducing solid food....A change in formula might be indicated. Ask your Pediatrician! BTW in addition to introducing solids you might consider using a 'sippy cup" or other device to wean baby from the bottle itself.

8mo vomiting dairy..:  Congratulations on your baby boy! It would be helpful to know what formula your baby is eating.  Some babies have a Milk Protein Allergy vs. Milk/formula intolerance.  Most times the symptoms are very similar.  Some babes have a true allergy and you may see symptoms similar or worse.  Others only have an intolerance and have vomiting or diarrhea only. Please see your Pediatrician for testing.

Expected: Fever rises the rate of breathing by 5 or more bpm  for every centigrade degree. Any 10 month old with that degree of fever should be evaluated.

TWO WEEKS...?: 2 weeks is kind of prolonged suffering. Viral gastro-enteritis resolves by 3-7 or 10 days. Take your infant to pediatrician to find out the cause.

In the mean time, give pedialyte, equal amount for each diarrhea. Can give some yogurt, lactose free formula.

See your doctor: Spitting up frequently is common in infants, but at 10 months you will want to discuss how much?  how often?  Growing and gaining weight?  There are medications that can help....if she needs them.

See below: Before seeking medical care you may try a period of resting the stomach without feeding for a 1-2 hrs and reintroducing a smaller amount and allowing your infant to digest things more efficiently by keeping him/her upright and allowing the stomach to empty. Reflux can be common. Loose stools is an infant norm-never formed or hard. If fussy and not consolable see your doctor or go to the er.

See Your Doctor: Your 10 mos old has "very thick toenails since birth". Congenital anomalies of the nails, hair, skin, teeth can be caused by a group of genetic defects called Ectodermal Dysplasias, of which there are numerous types. Involved body parts can be poorly developed or absent. Nails can be thick, misshapen or rough but usually cause no problems. See your doctor for diagnosis, genetic history, &amp; therapy.

dosage of bromfed (brompheniramine) for 14 lb infant? ped prescribed my 10 month old bromfed (brompheniramine) for her cough:  dose is 1/2 tspn/4hrs. def not the right dose for her.

Do not give.: There are many studies showing that over-the-counter cough medicines do not work for children, and in fact, many can cause side effects in some kids. In my opinion, these medicines do not work and do more harm. I hope you child feels better soon.
