Antibodies to beta 2- glycoprotein 1 is found in lupus disease, and in a condition called primary antiphospholipid antibody syndrome. This could be of igm or igg class. The relevance of the presence of these antibodies in these conditions in clinical practice is not very clear. The antibody can promote thrombosis.
