How can you get rid of chap lips?

I have had chapped lips for a couple of months and have a drawer full of every chap stick that is available for purchase. What is the best remedy?

Is it true that chapstick makes dry lips even worse? Have very bad chap lips to the point they bust open and bleed at times. Nothing seems to help.

I dont have any chapstick anymore, I used them all but now I dont have any with me now and I want to know what can I use for a substitute for a chapstick for my chap lips and cracked too? Is there any lotion I can use? Or toothpaste?

This month a day before my period was due I started spotting brownish red and pink for five days with very little blood on my pad all when I wiped on the tissue my breasts are sore and im tired and hungry all the time with dry chap lips?
