Rubella virus
Pathological virus, causing a disease called rubella, or 3 -day measles, or german measles; and characterized by 3 days rash and fever. Rubella is a common infection, and mild in children and young adults. During pregnancy it might cause congenital rubella disease in the fetus with the development of cataracts, congenital heart defects, deafness, mental retardation, spleen & liver defects.
