Probably not: Sperm can suvive a numeber of days ionce they reach fallopian tube. Sperm can certainly reach fallopian tube once menstrual flow is over. Ovulation usually takes place about 2 weeks before following menstruation, thus sperm could be 'waiting' to fertilize ovum which would then result in pregnancy. Better be safe than sorry, bcp, iud or condoms.
