Lots of things.: There are two general reasons for delayed ejaculation: 1. Stressors in the relationship, lack of attraction, or other psychological reasons. 2. A physical condition that should be evaluated by a doctor. Prescription meds and substances like marijuana can cause this. Depression, diabetes, or even neurological reasons may be the cause. Bottom line, see your doctor if it's persisting. Cheers!

Condoms/SSRIs: Condoms may be helpful with sensitization issues. Some condoms have Benzocaine (a topical anesthetic) which helps further with sensitization issues. Also, a side effect of ssris (paxil, prozac, celexa, lexapro, (escitalopram) zoloft) is often to delay ejaculation and they have been used at times to treat premature ejaculation.

No: Retarded eyaculation may be a side effect of medicines like antidepressants or others, and maybe a misinterpretation of retrograde eyaculation when sperm goes back to the bladder instead of forward to the exterior. Retarded eyaculation may be beneficial in males with premature eyaculation
