Can herpes resemble a staph infection?

Herpes and staff: This would be an extreme rarity. There are various changes in the skin produced by each of these conditions, and you do not describe any of those, so i cannot help you at this time. I would advise you to see a dermatologist when the lesions are present, and the diagnosis can be cultured and made.
