From hormones: Any hormonal method of birth control could possibly cause cramping, sore breasts and nipples. Both the estrogen and Progesterone in bcp can cause this. When this happens to my patients i switch to lower estrogen dose pill and/or to a pill with a different progesterone, and see if that helps.
