Up to 95%: If a woman takes the morning after pill within 24 hours of intercourse it is up to 95% effective. If she takes it within 72 hours of intercourse it is up to 89% effective. The sooner after intercourse the pill is taken the more effective it is, even during ovulation time. However being on bcp or Implanon or iud is even more effective, so it's helpful to consider a from of birth control.
