Yes: If you avoid a re-infection, chlamydia should be 100% cured when adequately treated. You'll need follow-up tests to assure cure. Unfortunately, some of the effects of chlamydia can be lasting--such as scarring in your fallopian tubes. The best ways to avoid stds are 1) abstinence and 2) condoms.
