Can you control when you get your period with birth control?

Yes: One nice side effect of ocp is that they tend to regulate and lighten your period. Hopefully you will see a consistent pattern. Now, you can't adjust your period month to month to be different. Your period should fall during the placebo pills. Your doctor can show you how this will work.
