Ovulating? Yes!: Birth control pills prevent pregnancy by tricking your body into thinking it's pregnant. Therefore you won't ovulate. No ovulation means no egg. No egg means no pregnancy. So if you stop taking your birth control pills, then yes, you can (and will) ovulate again. If you want to determine whether you're pregnant or not, you need to take pregnancy test, not ovulation prediction test.
