Can eating a whole packet of licorice lollies affect the birth control pill? i looked at the ingredients and it said it contained licorice extract?

Use other lollies: Licorice has been associated with increased blood pressure and decreased potassium in women taking birth control pill. Some evidence it may make pill less effective as well. Find a new candy and maybe use a back up method for this cycle.
