Several Causes: Paraphimosis occurs when the foreskin of an uncircumcised male cannot be pulled back over the head of the penis. The more common causes are failure to return the foreskin to its normal location after urination, examination, sex, or washing; direct trauma to the area; and infection, which may be due to poor personal hygiene. Paraphimosis is a urologic emergency, see your doctor immediately.
